Our family loves to go out. On weekends, we would either meet with friends, explore a new place or travel with family. Being apart for two months meant that we will have to experience places separately but just share them with each other online. So for the past several weeks, the bunnies have been exploring.
Here are the Bunny family’s Top 9 adventures for June and July:
Since he’s the one travelling far away, it is expected that he gets to experience a whole lot of new places and things. For 2 months, he’s sort of on a California Tour – visiting cities during the weekends. This also meant driving for long hours just to experience these places but he’s enjoying it so far. Daddy’s travels included The Golden Gate at San Francisco; Magic Johnson at the Staples Center in Los Angeles; and a railway at Santa Cruz County.
My adventures involved a lot of practical driving alone, meeting friends and a week’s stint in Cebu. Last month, one of my close friends left for NZ so she met us for dinner 2 days before her flight. It was a great night of laughter, gossip and celebrity stalking despite the heavy rains. While in Cebu for work, I had a chance to join a yoga and meditation session at a Buddhist Temple. I also met with daddy’s friends from his previous work. It’s my first time to have dinner with them without daddy bunny and I thought I would feel out of place. But of course, they were all chummy chums! I had fun at the dinner and most of all at the part 2 (timezone time!).
July also was a great milestone for Yui. For the first time ever in the history of forever, she went on an adventure without daddy or mommy. She spent a day at the park with her tito Colwyn, tita Gabe, Nanie and Bai. We were initially hesitant because the last time Yui tried to go with them, she cried 3 minutes after the car sped off so they had to u-turn back home. This time was a success! She was so excited when she left with them, knowing that they’re going to the park. She enjoyed all the slides, swings and seesaw. It was a truly fun time for her. Yui also went to her godbrother, AJ’s brithday party in Cavite. We spent 3 hours from QC to Cavite and spent longer time on the road than at the party. But we’re still happy to be part of AJ’s celebration. And Yui’s other milestone was when she first sat on the dental chair and had a successful cleaning session on the chair instead of mommy’s lap. 🙂
It was truly a different 2-month experience for the three of us but we created great memories along the way. Still, we’re looking forward to seeing each other and experiencing new adventures together again. 🙂
No worries as there’s only 9 days left…. Woohoo! Can’t wait for the 13th! 🙂
